· Yo-Mix™ Multi
100 series for yogurt and fermented milks composed of multiple lactic bacteria genus and species in addition to Streptococcus thermophilus.
200 series for yogurts and fermented milks composed of multiple lactic bacteria genus and species, including Bifido bacterium lactis or Lactobacillus acidophilus that can be declared in ingredient list.

300, 400 & 500 series for yogurt using only Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus.

Yo-Mix™ Direct Vat Inoculation (DVI) cultures deliver uniform batch to batch functionality while reducing the risk of bacteriophage attack. From set, stirred or drinking yogurt to regional fermented milks such as laban, ryazenka and many more, Danlac Canada Inc. will provide you with cultures for today’s dairy processing requirements.
The acidifying activity of all the Yo-Mix™cultures is measured using Danisco Culture Unit (DCU). The standard dosage recommended for the Yo-Mix™ Yogurt Culture range is 20 DCU for 100 liter. The Yo-Mix™ cultures are available from Danlac Canada Inc. only in freeze-dries/lyophilized (LYO) powder. The freeze-dried technology enables the Yo-Mix™ cultures to retain activity at 4 C. This allows easier storage using fridges instead of freezers and is also ideal for long-distance shipments. The freeze-dried format also reduces significantly the storage volume and facilities the culture handling.
Frozen cultures require storage at – 45C (-40 F) and allow an easy dispersion in fermentation vats.
