Danlac was registered with Alberta Consumer and Corporate Affairs, Corporate Registry on July 3, 1992 as a private company.

Clients are mainly in the Dairy Industry and associated industries where Danlac can offer its expertise, gained with over 30 years in the Dairy Processing business, helping companies doing business in and outside Canada.

Danlac has expanded its business by being independent agent for companies

CURRICULUM VITAE Egon Skovmose, B.Sc. in Dairy Processing Technology. (B. Sc. recognised by University of Alberta)

Has over 30 years of professional experience in Canada, Denmark and the Middle East, both in the private and public sectors. Since graduating from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural College in Copenhagen in 1969, two years was spend in the Middle East (Lebanon), training student in dairy processing technology, throughout the middle East. The two years was under the umbrella of Food and Agriculture Organisation, Rome (FAO).

Since 1971, when granted landed immigrant status in Canada, activities were in the private and co-operative dairy industry in Western Canada.

Joined Alberta Agriculture, Dairy Branch in 1979. Here involved in Dairy Processing extension as well as regulatory activities. (Edmonton, Wetaskiwin and Calgary).

The Canadian experience has been in dairy product development and implementation, milk plant start up as well as managing activities in dairy processing facilities.

The following is an outline of some of the contract services and other activities Danlac gets involved in:

  1. Assistance in the establishment of Food Processing Plants in and outside Canada.
  2. Help for Canadian food companies and suppliers to obtain contracts in and outside Canada. Transfer expertise to countries attempting to set up ventures with Canadian investors in Canada and abroad.
  3. Assistance to Canadian and foreign companies with procurement of equipment (new and used).
  4. Co-ordination of employee training sessions for Canadian and foreign companies.
  5. Strengthening of existing product lines as well as new product development (specialising in fluid milk, cheese, butter and cultured products).
  6. Troubleshooting in order to solve processing problems.
  7. Assistance in obtaining new manufacturing techniques, as well as setting up pilot-plant projects in either research centre(s) or in-house.
  8. Assist companies in joint-venture contacts with overseas contact.
